During January 2025, David Khantadze focused on streamlining the DefiLlama/dimension-adapters repository by deprecating and safely removing the BLAST data aggregation pipeline. He targeted the fetchBLAST function and its adapter configuration, isolating and eliminating an unsupported data path to reduce maintenance overhead and minimize potential data discrepancies. Working primarily with TypeScript and applying full stack development skills, David ensured the cleanup was precise and well-documented, maintaining clear version control for traceability and rollback. This work improved the reliability of the adapter for downstream consumers, reflecting a thoughtful approach to technical debt and long-term maintainability within the codebase.
