Worked on the usebruno/bruno repository to expand HTTP content-type handling, focusing on supporting custom and vendor-specific JSON types for improved interoperability with external integrations. Developed a set of reusable utility functions in JavaScript to standardize parsing and processing of various content types in curl commands, updating the existing Node.js logic to leverage these new utilities. This approach addressed curl import failures related to custom content-types and prepared the codebase for future extensibility. The work demonstrated a full stack development perspective, emphasizing maintainability and broader API compatibility by institutionalizing consistent content-type handling across the project’s HTTP request processing pipeline.
