During June 2025, Sam Daw enhanced the palantir/blueprint repository by developing a new iconography feature for selection controls. He designed and implemented the 'selection-box-remove' icon in both 16px and 20px sizes, enabling users to remove or deselect items within multi-select UI components. Working primarily with XML and applying his skills in iconography and UI development, Sam also updated metadata and tagging to ensure the new icon was properly linked to selection functionalities. The work addressed a specific UI need, was limited in scope to a single feature, and demonstrated focused, detail-oriented engineering within a short timeframe.
