Worked on the guardian/live-app-versions repository to restore the External Testers 2 beta distribution, re-enabling testing coverage for this group after a previous removal. Addressed a critical bug by reinstating necessary configuration and enhancing logging within the distribution success path, which improved both observability and debugging efficiency. Utilized Scala for backend development and API integration, focusing on maintaining end-to-end reliability and traceability across the deployment pipeline. Collaborated closely with QA and distribution teams to ensure stable beta workflows, minimizing release risk and supporting robust testing signals. The work emphasized careful rollback and targeted improvements rather than introducing new features.
