Worked on the gitlabhq/gitlab-runner repository to deliver enhanced security configurability for containerized CI/CD workloads. Developed and implemented the Docker Executor Seccomp Profile Path Configuration feature, allowing users to specify seccomp profile file paths for Docker-based runners while maintaining support for existing configuration options. This approach enabled more granular security policy enforcement and supported governance and compliance requirements across diverse deployment environments. The work involved thoughtful handling of backward compatibility and integration with existing seccomp logic. Utilized Go for feature development and leveraged expertise in containerization and Docker to strengthen host and container security within the GitLab Runner ecosystem.
