Worked on the derailed/k9s repository to upgrade the Netshoot debugging image within the debug-container plugin from version 0.12 to 0.13, ensuring continued compatibility with existing workflows while providing access to the latest fixes and improvements in the debugging tool. The update was implemented using YAML and leveraged containerization and DevOps practices to maintain release stability and minimize risk. The change was carefully validated and tracked through a dedicated commit, preserving functionality and establishing a clear audit trail. This work laid the foundation for enhanced debugging capabilities in future development cycles while maintaining a disciplined and low-risk release process.
