Worked on the armbian/configng repository to enhance hardware acceleration support for Rockchip RK35xx devices within containerized environments. Leveraging Linux system administration and shell scripting skills, exposed MPP and RGA hardware interfaces and configured udev permissions to enable reliable transcoding and playback in Jellyfin containers. Addressed data safety by refining the purge script to remove only configuration files, thereby preventing accidental deletion of user media. All changes were consolidated into a single workflow-focused commit, reflecting a methodical approach to feature delivery. The work demonstrated depth in containerization and system-level scripting, directly improving media server stability and user data protection.
