Worked on the laravel/wayfinder repository to enhance repository hygiene and streamline issue management. Introduced IDE ignore rules in the .gitignore file using Git configuration and YAML, ensuring that IDE-specific directories such as .idea and .vscode are excluded from version control, which reduces repository noise and prevents accidental commits of configuration files. Developed a standardized bug report template to collect essential environment and reproduction details, improving the efficiency of issue triage and debugging. These changes formalized contribution boundaries, accelerated pull request reviews, and facilitated faster onboarding for new contributors, while supporting better cross-team collaboration through structured issue tracking practices.
