During two months contributing to Hack4Impact-UMD/h4i-internal-application-tool, Dephs28 delivered four features spanning both frontend and backend development. They refreshed the Navbar UI/UX, integrating authentication state logic using React and Tailwind CSS to enable conditional rendering and a more cohesive design. On the backend, Dephs28 implemented an interview management API with Express.js and Firestore, supporting CRUD operations and real-time data updates. Their work also included building a tabbed status page and a structured review workflow for engineer applicants, leveraging TypeScript and state management. The features addressed application tracking, candidate evaluation, and authentication flows with thoughtful, maintainable engineering solutions.
