
Over two months, contributed to the Hack4Impact-UMD/h4i-internal-application-tool by building end-to-end user onboarding, authentication, and application submission workflows. Developed modular React components and implemented robust backend endpoints using Node.js and Express.js, integrating Firebase Firestore for secure data storage and timestamping. Enhanced form validation and error handling with Zod and custom middleware, ensuring data integrity and a seamless user experience. Introduced deadline enforcement, role-based access controls, and semester-based status reporting to support accurate application tracking. Addressed bugs in password reset messaging and deadline checks, while refining UI/UX with Tailwind CSS and reusable components to improve maintainability and clarity.
