During July 2025, Dominique Gervais contributed to the metabase/metabase repository by authoring a new documentation entry for the InterSystems IRIS Metabase driver. Dominique focused on improving discoverability and onboarding by linking directly to the driver’s GitHub repository and incorporating placeholders for GitHub stars and release date badges, which help signal adoption and credibility. The work was completed using Markdown and followed documentation best practices, ensuring alignment with repository standards and facilitating Git-based collaboration. While the contribution was limited in scope to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, it addressed a clear need for enhanced third-party driver visibility.
