Worked on the espressif/openocd-esp32 repository to enhance debugging workflows and system reliability for embedded development. Delivered a feature enabling early availability of target command names during initialization, which improved hardware thread-aware logging and startup diagnostics. Addressed stability issues in ARMv8 register handling by replacing single 128-bit reads with two 64-bit operations in C, reducing assertion failures. Improved the command line interface by centralizing result printing for the cget command, ensuring consistent user feedback regardless of command outcome. Focused on low-level programming, debugging, and RTOS environments, the work emphasized robust, observable startup and more reliable embedded system interactions.
