Developed an enhancement for Arm system information access within the tianocore/edk2 repository by implementing an assembly function to read the AIDR_EL1 register. This low-level programming effort enabled more robust retrieval of Auxiliary ID information, supporting improved platform bring-up, debugging, and telemetry for Arm architectures. The solution integrated the new ASM function into both ArmPkg and MdePkg, broadening accessibility across system components and laying the foundation for future system-information utilities. Leveraging expertise in ARM architecture, system programming, and assembly language, the work focused on maintainability and portability, streamlining multi-package changes and contributing to the long-term evolution of Edk2.
