Worked on the github/webpack-bundlesize-compare-action repository to enhance the reliability and security of the release process. Focused on updating release packaging by ensuring that built artifacts, specifically dist/index.js and dist/index.js.map, were consistently refreshed in each release, supporting reproducible builds and dependable artifact delivery. Addressed security vulnerabilities by applying dependency management best practices, using JavaScript and npm audit fix to update packages to patched versions. The work emphasized security patching and careful dependency updates, resulting in a more robust release workflow. This approach improved both the technical integrity and maintainability of the project within a one-month development period.
