Focused on backend development using Python, the work enforced GROK_API_KEY as a required environment variable, ensuring that the application can reliably connect to ChatGrok and similar AI services. Updated configuration logic in agent/views.py to reduce deployment errors and improve maintainability. Applied automated code formatting and linting with ruff to enhance code quality and consistency. This feature laid the groundwork for future AI integrations, emphasizing robust API integration practices and thorough testing to support smoother deployments and maintainable backend infrastructure.
