Worked on the browser-use/browser-use repository to enhance automated testing reliability by developing a custom event listener detection system for Playwright compatibility. Focused on replacing the standard getEventListeners approach with a more robust JavaScript-based solution, the work improved the accuracy and performance of DOM event listener detection. Special attention was given to identifying mouse interaction listeners on elements with interactive roles, which reduced test flakiness and false negatives in automated test suites. Leveraging skills in front end development, DOM manipulation, and testing, the contribution addressed a key pain point in test automation workflows, resulting in more consistent and maintainable test outcomes.
