Worked on the dotnet/project-system repository to enhance the efficiency and clarity of the RemovePropertyValue function. Focused on backend development and code refactoring using C#, the work involved deferring the retrieval of ProjectPropertyElement until a modification was necessary, which reduced unnecessary computation and improved runtime performance. Additionally, updated documentation to accurately describe the function’s behavior, changing the comment from 'Renames' to 'Removes' to minimize developer confusion. The code was reorganized to align with the new evaluation order, supporting future maintainability. This targeted feature improved both code clarity and operational efficiency without introducing new bugs during the development period.
