Developed OpenWrt support for the AlwayLink M01K43 5G CPE router in the DragonBluep/openwrt repository, focusing on Linux kernel development and embedded systems. The work involved creating device-tree definitions, configuring hardware interfaces, and implementing a radio and MAC addressing strategy using DSA to ensure stable LAN, WAN, and WiFi operation. Production-ready OpenWrt images were built and validated in C and Makefile, with comprehensive installation and recovery documentation provided for both operators and end users. This contribution expanded hardware compatibility for the OpenWrt ecosystem, supporting new 5G CPE devices and streamlining deployment and adoption for the community.
