During a two-month period, DPA contributed to the kamailio/kamailio and openhab/openhab-core repositories, focusing on build system management, code refactoring, and workflow modernization. In kamailio/kamailio, DPA updated Makefile definitions to ensure GCC 15 compatibility, eliminating compiler warnings and supporting newer toolchains. They also improved repository clarity by removing outdated CVS and SVN references, aligning documentation and build scripts with a Git-based workflow. Additionally, DPA standardized dialog capitalization to enhance UI consistency. In openhab-core, they streamlined Java constructors by removing redundant super() calls, reducing boilerplate and improving maintainability. Their work demonstrated depth in C, Java, and build systems.
