August 2025: Delivered a security hardening feature in lagoon-charts for the lagoon-logs-concentrator. Enabled public CA-signed certificates and default mTLS to ensure trusted, encrypted inter-component communication. The change includes certificate provisioning with a public CA and mTLS by default, along with chart version bumps to pick up security updates. Implemented in uselagoon/lagoon-charts (commit 93a37390a4cd92bfaeb49411d0c3a7a461661449). No major bugs fixed this month; focus was on security hardening, stability, and release governance. July 2025 monthly performance summary for uselagoon/lagoon-charts. Delivered a critical bug fix to unify environment variable configuration for Insights-Remote deployment and Kubernetes Helm charts. The fix corrects incorrect references to extraEnvs and ensures custom env vars are applied consistently by aligning the sources to the correct chart values in docker-host statefulset and storage-calculator deployment. Changes reflect follow-up from code review and improve deployment reliability across environments.
