Developed new License Management API endpoints within the contentful/contentful-management.js repository, enabling retrieval of eligible and available licenses to streamline license governance for Contentful customers. The work involved designing robust fetch methods and comprehensive type definitions using TypeScript, ensuring type safety and maintainability. Integration testing was implemented to validate endpoint behavior and accurately handle license counts, while lint issues were resolved and test mocks improved to support reliable automated testing. By aligning all changes with the repository’s standards, the implementation enhanced end-to-end test coverage and reduced manual license reconciliation efforts, demonstrating a methodical approach to API development and integration testing.
