Worked on the contentful/apps repository to deliver a configurable default for reference include depth in the JSON Viewer, enhancing user control over how deeply related references are expanded when viewing JSON data. This feature was implemented using React for the front end, with JavaScript and TypeScript to ensure type safety and maintainability. The configuration screen was updated to surface the new depth option, making it accessible for users to adjust settings as needed. Comprehensive test coverage was added to validate the new behavior and handle edge cases, while a bug fix ensured consistent rendering by standardizing include depth selections as string values.
