During July 2025, work focused on developing the Measurement Remote Execution feature for the ni/measurement-plugin-python repository. This involved implementing remote measurement workflows by populating the deployment_target, designing an API to enumerate available compute nodes, and enabling automatic selection of the remote node URL when only one node is present. Using Python, API development, and gRPC, the solution streamlined remote orchestration and reduced manual configuration steps. The feature laid the foundation for scalable, distributed testing and execution, accelerating deployment processes and supporting multi-node environments. All changes were delivered with clear commit traceability, emphasizing maintainability and integration within existing system architectures.
