Worked on the ortus-boxlang/BoxLang repository to enhance environment management and deployment reliability through improvements to the env-loader.bat script. Focused on Windows batch scripting and scripting best practices, the work introduced support for loading multiple and dynamically named .env files, streamlining environment variable management. A new post-env bypass flow was implemented, allowing scripts to skip redundant steps after environment setup, which reduced manual intervention and potential misconfigurations. These changes improved script control and execution paths, resulting in faster and more reliable deployments. The technical approach emphasized robust environment management and process automation within the Windows scripting environment for BoxLang.
