During September 2025, Diego Lemos expanded platform compatibility in the pivotal-cf/kiln repository by implementing Ubuntu Noble OS support. He achieved this by defining the ubuntu-noble stemcell slug within the ProductSlug function, enabling the find-stemcell-version utility to correctly identify and deploy Noble OS stemcells. Diego reinforced this enhancement with a dedicated automated test to ensure reliable slug resolution and prevent future regressions. Working primarily in Go and focusing on backend development, his contribution removed a deployment blocker, broadened customer deployment options, and improved operational reliability.
