During March 2026, Dinesh Chelupati developed support for the Azure SRE Agent resource type within the Azure/azure-dev repository, enabling the platform to recognize and display SRE Agent resources during provisioning. He implemented this feature using Go, focusing on backend and API development, and integrated a new resource type constant and display name logic to improve operator visibility into provisioning progress. Dinesh expanded test coverage with dedicated cases for the new resource and validated compatibility with the 2025-05-01-preview API version. This work enhanced provisioning transparency for SRE workloads and laid the foundation for future automation in resource management.
