Worked on expanding MSSQL integration for the eosphoros-ai/DB-GPT project, focusing on deepening metadata introspection and improving database connectivity. Developed new methods within the MSSQLConnector to retrieve detailed metadata such as user logins, server permissions, character sets, collations, table names, column details, and index information, enabling more comprehensive analysis and governance of MSSQL databases. Addressed a critical embedding error to ensure reliable connections, reducing troubleshooting time and supporting robust data discovery. Leveraged backend development skills with Python and SQL to deliver these enhancements, demonstrating a strong focus on database management and introspection within a production codebase.
