Worked on the mondaycom/mcp repository to deliver two core platform enhancements focused on user engagement and data visibility. Developed a CreateNotificationTool using TypeScript and GraphQL, enabling the platform API to send targeted notifications for updates and project items, with robust error handling and a maintainable directory structure. Also implemented a get_updates tool that retrieves updates from items or boards, supporting pagination and optional inclusion of replies and assets for richer context. Emphasized API development best practices, unit testing, and code refactoring to align with platform conventions, resulting in cleaner tooling and improved scalability for notification and update retrieval workflows.
