During May 2025, Dani worked on the moodlehq/moodle-local_moodlemobileapp repository, focusing on a comprehensive cleanup of rich text editor settings localization. Leveraging PHP and applying code refactoring and localization expertise, Dani deprecated and restructured language strings associated with the editor settings. This involved removing outdated strings and reintroducing them under a more streamlined framework, which simplifies future localization updates and reduces maintenance overhead. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the work addressed technical debt and improved the project’s readiness for internationalization. The changes were documented for traceability, ensuring maintainability and clarity for future development cycles.
