During November 2024, Diego Rabaioli developed and delivered the SdraKb00 keyboard firmware in the srwi/qmk_firmware repository, focusing on embedded systems and C programming. He engineered a 3x4 macro pad with hot-swappable keys and RGB backlighting, implementing layered keymaps to support both base and function layers. The firmware introduced numpad functionality and dynamic layer switching, with RGB matrix colors providing real-time visual feedback for active layers. All features were tied to a traceable commit, ensuring business value and maintainability. Diego’s work demonstrated depth in keyboard firmware development, addressing both usability and traceability requirements within a single, cohesive feature release.
