Worked on the miraheze/mw-config repository to deliver an Access Control and Group Naming Refactor, focusing on modernizing permissions governance for related wikis. The project involved removing the moderator protection level and updating the access control model to align with a new group naming scheme, which reduced configuration drift and improved security. Using PHP and back end development skills, the developer unified protection levels and updated configuration variables such as wgAdditionalRights. This work enhanced maintainability and consistency across the repository, streamlining future governance and simplifying permission management for administrators and contributors working within the Miraheze ecosystem. No bugs were fixed.
