During July 2025, contributed two targeted enhancements across the kubernetes/autoscaler and kubernetes/kubernetes repositories. Developed M4 instance pricing support for the GCE cloud provider, enabling the autoscaler to make cost-aware scaling decisions by integrating new pricing tiers through Go and YAML configuration management. Additionally, implemented a fake OCI registry server within agnhost, allowing for robust testing of image pulls from both private and public registries, including authentication scenarios. These features addressed cost optimization and improved testing reliability, demonstrating backend development and API integration skills while extending the platform’s capabilities for both operational efficiency and comprehensive test coverage.
