Worked on the IBM/IM-ios repository to deliver comprehensive Russian localization throughout the iOS application, updating user interface strings and core features such as polls, chat, voice broadcasting, space creation, and message threading. Leveraged Weblate-driven translation management to ensure consistent integration of Russian language support, applying changes across eight commits. Utilized Objective-C and Swift to implement these updates, focusing on enhancing accessibility and user experience for Russian-speaking users. The work established a scalable localization process for future releases, aligning with the product’s broader strategy to improve onboarding and retention in new markets while maintaining high standards in user interface design.
