Worked on enhancing the macOS installer for the sourcebot-dev/sourcebot repository, focusing on improving reliability and achieving feature parity with other platforms. Integrated PCRE2 and LibYAML support into the installer using Shell scripting and DevOps practices, enabling YAML-driven configurations and regex-based features on macOS. This update addressed compatibility issues and reduced post-installation problems by ensuring all necessary dependencies were bundled during installation. Maintained clear traceability through a single, well-documented commit that captured the installer changes. The work demonstrated attention to cross-platform consistency and leveraged expertise in macOS development, Shell scripting, and dependency management to streamline the installation process.
