Worked on modernizing the CI/CD pipeline for system tests in the spacemeshos/go-spacemesh repository, focusing on automation and reliability. Developed new CI/CD jobs using GitHub Actions and Bash to build and push Docker images, provision and manage GKE clusters, and execute system tests across both GKE and dedicated clusters. This approach improved test isolation, reproducibility, and provided faster feedback loops for releases. The work included validating an experimental environment for system tests, laying the foundation for future stabilization. Leveraged Kubernetes and YAML to orchestrate workflows, resulting in more deterministic test outcomes and enhanced readiness for broader adoption of system tests.
