Worked on the OpenPanel repository to enhance reliability and automation in IP address management, focusing on deployment stability across dedicated and shared environments. Addressed a bug in the IP address change script by removing improper local variable scoping in ip.sh and refining output logic to eliminate duplicate success messages. Improved the process for IP file creation and cache handling, reducing manual intervention and minimizing misconfiguration risks during environment transitions. Utilized Shell scripting and system administration skills to deliver these targeted improvements. The work, delivered through two commits, contributed to more robust automation and smoother cross-environment IP assignment workflows within the project.
