Worked on the Alfresco/alfresco-ng2-components repository to address a user interface issue in the Error Component, focusing on improving error message clarity and layout stability. Utilized CSS and SCSS to prevent the error icon from shrinking, ensuring that long error messages no longer overlapped with the icon and maintaining a consistent, readable layout across different message lengths. Incorporated a Copilot-generated optimization to refine the solution, demonstrating an iterative approach to front end development. The work emphasized responsive design principles and UI design best practices, resulting in a more robust and user-friendly error display without introducing new features during the period.
