Worked on frontend UI cleanup in the Alfresco/alfresco-ng2-components repository, focusing on improving styling consistency and maintainability. Used CSS and front end development skills to remove outdated CSS rules, reducing technical debt and simplifying the codebase. This targeted cleanup established a cleaner CSS baseline, which helps prevent visual regressions and makes future UI changes more predictable. By streamlining the styling layer, the work also supports faster onboarding for new contributors and enables more reliable updates. No major bugs were addressed during this period, but overall stability was maintained through improved code organization and a reduced maintenance burden for the UI.
