During March 2025, contributed to the aws-actions/amazon-ecs-deploy-task-definition repository by enhancing deployment traceability in CI workflows. Developed a feature in GitHub Actions using YAML to expose run-task ARNs as outputs, allowing continuous integration pipelines to report and track the lifecycle of ECS tasks directly. This update enabled improved visibility, auditing, and debugging by correlating CI runs with specific ECS tasks, streamlining issue resolution and deployment reliability. The implementation focused on clear output contracts and minimal code changes, demonstrating an observability-driven approach to workflow automation. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on this targeted feature enhancement.
