Worked on the aws-actions/amazon-ecs-deploy-task-definition repository to introduce a structured Feature Request Template for GitHub Issues, aiming to standardize and streamline the process of submitting new feature ideas. Leveraged Markdown to design clear sections for description, problem statement, alternatives, context, and willingness to contribute, which improved the clarity and organization of incoming proposals. Focused on documentation as the primary technical skill, ensuring that repository guidelines and contributor documentation remained current and accessible. This work enhanced the feature intake and triage workflow, supporting better backlog management and aligning community contributions with product goals, while reducing onboarding friction for new contributors.
