Worked on the pingcap/ticdc repository to deliver security-focused backend improvements using Go, with an emphasis on API development and testing. Developed a log redaction feature that introduced a dynamic API, allowing runtime changes to redaction modes while enforcing stricter transitions to protect sensitive data. Comprehensive tests were implemented to ensure the integrity and reliability of this security enhancement. Additionally, addressed a bug where TLS credentials were not properly propagated to the tiflow server in old architecture mode, enabling secure cross-component communication by transferring credentials from CLI flags to server configuration. The work strengthened both security and configuration flexibility.
