Worked on the LifeSG/react-design-system repository to deliver a targeted UI/UX enhancement for form components. Focused on refactoring the Date Input elements, the developer introduced size wrappers to standardize styling, improve alignment, and ensure consistent spacing across forms. This technical approach, implemented using React with both JavaScript and TypeScript, resulted in cleaner visuals and a more reliable design system foundation. The update not only improved the user experience by reducing visual drift but also streamlined future UI development and theming. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on strengthening the design system’s visual and structural consistency.
