Worked on integrating sysmem2 token support and enhancing buffer registration within the flutter/flutter repository, focusing on aligning buffer management with Fuchsia protocols. The approach involved migrating the codebase to use sysmem2 tokens, which improved compatibility and streamlined the buffer collection registration process. By refining the registration flow, the changes aimed to reduce runtime errors and lower integration friction for downstream consumers. This work, implemented in C++ and leveraging system programming skills, established a foundation for broader sysmem2 adoption across the project. The contribution addressed a core feature area, emphasizing protocol alignment and robust buffer management without introducing bug fixes during the period.
