During December 2025, Dinu Wijetunga developed a new Logs Restriction Query resource for the DataDog/terraform-provider-datadog repository, enabling users to create and manage log restriction queries with role-based access control. He implemented this feature using Go and Terraform, focusing on API development to ensure seamless integration with existing provider patterns. The work was delivered in a single, traceable commit to facilitate code review and maintainability. By aligning with policy-as-code and governance initiatives, Dinu’s contribution improved security and reduced provisioning risk, allowing customers to enforce log access controls directly within their Terraform workflows for more secure infrastructure management.
