Worked on enhancing manifest management within the ankane/iceberg-go repository, focusing on improving metadata handling and scalability for large datasets. Developed builders for manifest entries and data files, enabling more flexible and robust construction of manifest structures. Implemented support for writing both manifest entries and manifest lists, which expanded the library’s capabilities for managing complex data serialization workflows. Leveraged Go as the primary language, utilizing skills in API design, the builder pattern, and Avro serialization to strengthen the reliability and maintainability of the codebase. These enhancements laid the groundwork for future metadata features and performance improvements in large-scale data environments.
