Worked on stabilizing the OpenSCAD formatting workflow in the tweag/topiary repository by addressing a bug that caused incorrect spacing around arguments. Focused on code formatting and text processing, the solution removed extra spaces to prevent unintended operator interpretations in OpenSCAD files, thereby improving formatting accuracy and reducing downstream review effort. The update included modifications to the CHANGELOG and adjustments to test cases to reflect the new spacing behavior. Utilizing skills in SCM and OpenSCAD, the work enhanced the reliability of the formatter, ensuring that OpenSCAD code processed by the tool adheres to expected syntax and reduces formatting-related defects.
