Worked on the turbot/powerpipe repository to enhance the reliability of dashboard development by building a new continuous integration workflow that runs dashboard UI tests during pull request validation. This addition leveraged YAML for workflow configuration and JavaScript for test execution, integrating automated testing directly into the CI/CD pipeline. The approach increased test coverage and enabled earlier detection of regressions, reducing risk associated with dashboard changes. By focusing on testing and automation, the work improved feedback cycles for contributors and supported maintainability of the dashboard component. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and process improvement.
