Worked on security hardening and dependency management for the turbot/powerpipe repository, focusing on reducing risk exposure and improving code maintainability. Addressed a security vulnerability by upgrading the Go runtime to version 1.26.1 and updating npm packages, ensuring alignment with current security policies. Enhanced static analysis and CI checks by updating golangci-lint and related tooling, which improved overall code quality and auditability. Leveraged backend and frontend development skills, utilizing Go and JavaScript to stabilize the build pipeline. The work resulted in a more secure, compliant, and maintainable codebase, supporting faster remediation cycles and reducing the vulnerability window in production.
