Worked on the uw-midsun/fwxvi repository to enhance the reliability of the build workflow by addressing a bug in the SConstruct file’s num_jobs handling. Used Python scripting and build system configuration skills to ensure the num_jobs option was correctly respected, which improved the consistency of parallel builds in both local and CI environments. The targeted fix reduced intermittent build failures and led to more predictable build times, directly supporting the project’s goals for reliability and efficiency. Demonstrated careful change management and a focus on low-risk, high-impact improvements, contributing to a more stable and responsive continuous integration process.
