February 2026 focused on delivering business-value features for the Foundry samples, improving tool usability, and aligning tooling with Azure standards. Key feature delivery includes Seattle Hotel Agent with hotel availability search (replacing the older date/time tool) along with updated docs and configuration. In addition, a Local Python Tool Execution sample demonstrates containerized local tool usage on hosted agents. Azure Developer tooling and Agent Framework enhancements were completed, including azd-aligned conventions, VS Code launch configuration for easier debugging, and standardized environment variable naming. Cleanup activities included credential removal in the agent framework server setup and version pinning to stable components. These changes collectively improve user experience, developer onboarding, and reliability of tool-based automation for hotel search and agent tooling.
